When Moncheaux's Claude Hervieux in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garons's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kevan Fréchou in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Bonnamour saved Garons from getting behind. Claude Hervieux struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Carlos Bonnamour didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moncheaux. Moncheaux's Kevan Fréchou got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute Claude Hervieux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Bonnamour saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Moncheaux fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Moncheaux's Kevan Fréchou looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Claude Hervieux's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Bonnamour read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Ibrahim Doré's late challenge caught a Moncheaux's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ibrahim Doré helped the player get up and apologised. Ibrahim Doré hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Claude Hervieux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Carlos Bonnamour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevan Fréchou in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Bonnamour prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ibrahim Doré kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Claude Hervieux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 minutes of play, Moncheaux's Claude Hervieux made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Bonnamour was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Bonnamour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevan Fréchou in the 40th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Dominique Rognon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kevan Fréchou made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Crépel in the 52nd minute of play forced Moncheaux's goalkeeper Benjamin Sola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Moncheaux getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Valérien Engrand hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Moncheaux's zone, Blaise Chalon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Sola came out of the goal and Blaise Chalon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Garons's Carlos Bonnamour got control of the ball when Claude Hervieux tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claude Hervieux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Carlos Bonnamour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Kevan Fréchou reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlos Bonnamour. The goal made the score 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claude Hervieux got free with Carlos Bonnamour in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Bonnamour made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevan Fréchou in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Moncheaux left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Garons.
