Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Djamel Bridier kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Emerchicourt's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Durieux came free, but Romaric Orain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 played minutes Emerchicourt got a freekick which was hit by Cyril Veyssiere. In the 11th minute, Djamel Bridier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Castagniers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 18th minute, Elias Durieux got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Elias Durieux came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Castagniers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Durieux couldn't finish the play. After 25 played minutes Castagniers got a freekick which was hit by Guy Lorthioir. After a defensive mix-up in Castagniers's zone, Thibault Wojcik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boris Bonneau came out of the goal and Thibault Wojcik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Youssef Boury fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Bonneau having to interfere. Thibault Wojcik's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Boris Bonneau skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cyril Veyssiere during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Youssef Boury was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Djamel Bridier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romaric Orain was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Youssef Boury got in the 56th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Boris Bonneau handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Elias Durieux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Elias Durieux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romaric Orain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Djamel Bridier, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Francis Boudot hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Castagniers's goal looked a bit too open when Thibault Wojcik came free, but Boris Bonneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Francis Boudot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Emerchicourt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castagniers the free kick. In the 87th match minute, Emerchicourt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francis Boudot to maneuver through the defense. Romaric Orain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Djamel Bridier in the 87th minute of play. Emerchicourt's Francis Boudot got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Francis Boudot off the ground. After 93 played minutes Emerchicourt got a freekick which was hit by Francis Boudot. When Castagniers's Djamel Bridier in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Emerchicourt's goalie prevented a goal. Elias Durieux could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Romaric Orain made a huge save. When the match was over Castagniers could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Emerchicourt throughout the match.
