That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Alou Debon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnabé Brugier in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Barnabé Brugier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alou Debon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaud Fesquet might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noël Aumont. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnaud Fesquet ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice moves Alix Goyard could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Noël Aumont however easily saved by the left post. After 18 played minutes FC INTERSTELLAR UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Rouquette. Alix Goyard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noël Aumont having to interfere. When Royat's Alix Goyard in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC INTERSTELLAR UNITED's goalie prevented a goal. Royat's Alexis Archimbaud got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barnabé Brugier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alou Debon having to interfere. The supporters of Royat booed when FC INTERSTELLAR UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bilal Morizot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barnabé Brugier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Alou Debon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noël Aumont was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alix Goyard showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC INTERSTELLAR UNITED's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alix Goyard was slow to take the kick. During this time Royat's players had a chance to rest. FC INTERSTELLAR UNITED's Noël Aumont proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save FC INTERSTELLAR UNITED from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Barnabé Brugier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Royat's Alix Goyard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noël Aumont made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 57th minute Jocelyn Boudet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alou Debon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Barnabé Brugier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC INTERSTELLAR UNITED's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barnabé Brugier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rdth minute of the game Barnabé Brugier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Royat's Alou Debon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnaud Fesquet hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Alexis Archimbaud left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Royat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Noël Aumont took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alix Goyard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC INTERSTELLAR UNITED's Jean-Charles Laffon got a free kick in the 75th minute. If Damien Fouet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute.
