Spectators: 7372 (Terracing: 5530, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bruce Roig made the kick off which started today's match. When Bruce Roig came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Macully fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruce Roig couldn't finish the play. The supporters of corsaires nantais booed when Macully was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Bordet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sam Randon made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Wilfried Amirault sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the match, Macully's goalkeeper Sam Randon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Le Guennec. 15 minutes into the game, Serge Chancerel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sam Randon. Serge Chancerel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Manuel Le Guennec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Sam Randon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serge Chancerel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam Randon having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serge Chancerel in the 22nd minute of play forced Macully's goalkeeper Sam Randon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sam Randon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Le Guennec in the 23rd minute of play. Sam Randon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Louison Guionnet went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 33rd minute, Serge Chancerel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sam Randon didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 34th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. Sam Randon was a little too slow when Serge Chancerel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

If Bruce Roig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pierre-Olivier Mourot hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serge Chancerel in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sam Randon saved Macully from getting behind. Serge Chancerel took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sam Randon. Sam Randon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Arnold Dridi hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Alphonse Winkler took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sam Randon. Macully's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 68thth minute of the game Serge Chancerel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macully's Sam Randon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pierre-Olivier Mourot might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sam Randon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pierre-Olivier Mourot ran back to his position shaking his head. Sam Randon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serge Chancerel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th match minute, Macully was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruce Roig to maneuver through the defense. corsaires nantais's Manuel Le Guennec got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benjamin Bozon hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Macully's zone, Serge Chancerel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sam Randon came out of the goal and Serge Chancerel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Macully's Arnold Dridi got a free kick in the 80th minute. When corsaires nantais's Serge Chancerel in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Macully's goalie prevented a goal. Macully's Sam Randon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre-Olivier Mourot in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute Alphonse Winkler collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaston Cauchy during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. corsaires nantais's Jean-Paul Lartigau was substituted for Alphonse Winkler. Charlie Gernberg struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Sam Randon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for corsaires nantais. After 93 played minutes Macully got a freekick which was hit by Ramzy Pérignon. After 96 minutes, Serge Chancerel made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Macully's Sam Randon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. corsaires nantais had played much better football throughout.
