In the 6th match minute, Tours F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Alric to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute of the match Ferdinand Barnabé sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henri Boulinguez skillfully saved the ball. Tours F.C.'s Henri Boulinguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Rideau in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tours F.C.'s zone, Steve Rideau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henri Boulinguez came out of the goal and Steve Rideau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Brian Limouzin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tours F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Francis Mehl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jason Seris went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Steve Rideau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl Briatte charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl Briatte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Chappes's Karl Briatte got a free kick in the 31st minute. If Steve Rideau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steve Rideau came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Henri Boulinguez could save by the left post. In the 41st minute, Brian Limouzin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tours F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Oscar Guichard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brian Limouzin was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute of the match Karl Pupier sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francis Mehl skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Guichard in the 64th minute of play forced Tours F.C.'s goalkeeper Henri Boulinguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chappes's Steve Rideau got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Chappes's Steve Rideau in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tours F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Chappes's supporters rose to their feet, but Steve Rideau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henri Boulinguez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oscar Guichard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henri Boulinguez having to interfere. Henri Boulinguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Guichard in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chappes's zone, Jason Seris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francis Mehl came out of the goal and Jason Seris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Brian Limouzin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Francis Mehl managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Tours F.C.'s Jason Seris fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Henri Boulinguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Rideau in the 92nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tours F.C.'s zone, Steve Rideau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henri Boulinguez came out of the goal and Steve Rideau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steve Rideau in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henri Boulinguez saved Tours F.C. from getting behind. The Tours F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
