Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Villepreux's Herbert Bono started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Ronan Bardel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Le Pape saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Olivet booed when Villepreux was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavien Schwartz didn't get a good kick on the ball. François Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivien Morisset in the 7th minute of play. Bakary Romeo lost his temper 12 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Olivet fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! Herbert Bono struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. François Abad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villepreux. 22 minutes into the match, Olivet's goal looked a bit too open when Vivien Morisset came free, but François Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. François Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivien Morisset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olivet's François Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Bono in the 25th minute of play. Vivien Morisset might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over François Abad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vivien Morisset ran back to his position shaking his head. When Herbert Bono came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Villepreux fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Bono couldn't finish the play. Harold Rouze charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harold Rouze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Olivet getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Harold Rouze hit a great ball. Herbert Bono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without François Abad having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Villepreux was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavien Schwartz to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the game, René Kaiser was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olivet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villepreux the free kick. A collision led to Olivet getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Harold Rouze hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 66th minute Herbert Bono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but François Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vivien Morisset sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Villepreux's Vivien Morisset got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Bono in the 83rd minute of play forced Olivet's goalkeeper François Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Flavien Schwartz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villepreux's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olivet the free kick. Flavien Schwartz kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olivet's goalkeeper François Abad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th minute of the match, Herbert Bono tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but François Abad saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Olivet defense, Herbert Bono kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of François Abad. The Olivet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that François Abad should have stopped the shot. Olivet's François Abad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Olivet from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Vivien Morisset managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villepreux's supporters rose to their feet, but Vivien Morisset was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. François Abad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Villepreux left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Olivet.
