Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Achille Marcelin kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the match, Châtelet's goalkeeper Charly Dacheux had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marc Lebigre. Marc Lebigre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Charly Dacheux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes in the game, Achille Marcelin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Charly Dacheux having to interfere. Peypin's Achille Marcelin got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mathias Bogaert might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claude Teyssandier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mathias Bogaert ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute, Marc Lebigre fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Charly Dacheux, passed just outside the right post. In the 32nd minute, Erwann Citerne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Châtelet's zone, Achille Marcelin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charly Dacheux came out of the goal and Achille Marcelin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Châtelet's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Marcelin came free, but Charly Dacheux reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marc Lebigre got free with Charly Dacheux in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Charly Dacheux stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Achille Marcelin's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Achille Marcelin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charly Dacheux read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Mathias Bogaert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tristan Traore hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Mathias Bogaert scored 0-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claude Teyssandier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Claude Teyssandier made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Tristan Traore sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Bogaert in the 84th minute of play forced Peypin's goalkeeper Claude Teyssandier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marc Lebigre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charly Dacheux having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Marc Lebigre made a precise shot to the right of Charly Dacheux. Châtelet's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Peypin were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
