Hector Guénard made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Félicien Buret sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes into the match, Fc Bordeaux's goal looked a bit too open when Alix Lizarazu came free, but Hector Guénard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Félicien Buret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Alix Lizarazu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Guénard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 played minutes Bellegarde got a freekick which was hit by Vivien Puissant. In the 23rd minute, Félicien Buret fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Hector Guénard. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and Bellegarde's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. In the 24th match minute, Fc Bordeaux was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Willaume to maneuver through the defense. Fc Bordeaux's Hector Guénard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Bordeaux from getting a goal against them. Félicien Buret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Guénard having to interfere. Alix Lizarazu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute Romeo Carle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel Mirande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alix Lizarazu to make the kick off. Fc Bordeaux's Ramzy Cuq suffered a sore thigh after 51 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 51 minutes into the game, Yohann Dorchies was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bellegarde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc Bordeaux the free kick. In the 52nd minute, Yohann Dorchies hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute Alix Lizarazu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Guénard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Guénard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alix Lizarazu in the 57th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faudel Jouanne during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes Fc Bordeaux got a freekick which was hit by Faudel Jouanne. 62 minutes into the match, Fc Bordeaux's goal looked a bit too open when Alix Lizarazu came free, but Hector Guénard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fc Bordeaux's Hector Guénard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alix Lizarazu in the 65th minute of play. Romeo Carle hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillaume Fievez during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 83 minutes into the match, Fc Bordeaux's goal looked a bit too open when Alix Lizarazu came free, but Hector Guénard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Félicien Buret in the 84th minute of play forced Fc Bordeaux's goalkeeper Hector Guénard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bellegarde's zone, Jean-Cyrille Dietrich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lionel Mirande came out of the goal and Jean-Cyrille Dietrich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Félicien Buret managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bellegarde's supporters rose to their feet, but Félicien Buret was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Guénard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bryan Serve kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
