An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathys Duchet in the 11th minute of play forced Viroflay's goalkeeper Paul-Henri Cizeron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Morgan Maridet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davy Lévesque in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Tom Rivault shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morgan Maridet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viroflay's Paul-Henri Cizeron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Castello in the 17th minute of play. The Viroflay fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Viroflay's Davy Lévesque looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Vieugy getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Rayanne Guittonneau hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Davy Lévesque managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viroflay's supporters rose to their feet, but Davy Lévesque was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Morgan Maridet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Romeo Castello came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Vieugy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeo Castello couldn't finish the play. Morgan Maridet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adil Schuster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Morgan Maridet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davy Lévesque, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Vieugy's Morgan Maridet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davy Lévesque in the 47th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romeo Castello got free with Paul-Henri Cizeron in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Vieugy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Viroflay were winning 0-1.

In the 52nd minute of the match, Davy Lévesque tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Morgan Maridet saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Morgan Maridet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davy Lévesque in the 53rd minute of play. François Lombard hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Mathys Duchet put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Paul-Henri Cizeron. Morgan Maridet made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Adil Schuster sent off a good shot on target. Morgan Maridet was a little too slow when Adil Schuster got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 1-2. François Lombard's late challenge caught a Vieugy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. François Lombard helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute, François Lombard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A throw-in in the 84th minute of the game was made by Herbert Évrard with Alphonse Jeannin as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The supporters of Vieugy booed when Viroflay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adil Schuster didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Mathys Duchet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paul-Henri Cizeron was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 89th minute, Davy Lévesque left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Viroflay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 97th match minute, Vieugy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathys Duchet to maneuver through the defense.
