An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoffroy Dutertre in the 36th minute of play forced Dreff's goalkeeper Felix Wozniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cheikh Beaudoin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Bonetti having to interfere. Azieu's Paul Bonetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marouane Boulain in the 42nd minute of play. Dreff's Felix Wozniak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Dreff from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Geoffroy Dutertre made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Azieu's Mohamed Ramaye got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Paul Bonetti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Gonon, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Cheikh Beaudoin struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Paul Bonetti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dreff. Paul Bonetti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cheikh Beaudoin in the 60th minute of the match. Cheikh Beaudoin might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paul Bonetti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hubert Voillot charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. During the 91st minute of the match Auguste Barale completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Auguste Barale a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 91st minute, Auguste Barale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Azieu's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
