Reynald Descat hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the game, Cyrille Chevereau recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Boguslaw Gomolka. Cyrille Chevereau showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Boguslaw Gomolka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyrille Chevereau in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Faustin Chaminade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Thise fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 25 minutes of play, Thise's Faustin Chaminade made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boguslaw Gomolka was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Thise getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Eymeric Bondu hit a great ball. Boguslaw Gomolka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Éluard Terrasson's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Boguslaw Gomolka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Boguslaw Gomolka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyrille Chevereau in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

If Cyrille Chevereau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Thise booed when Thumesnil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. The audience was convinced that Cyrille Chevereau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boguslaw Gomolka was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Jordy Cassard charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jordy Cassard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Thise fully deserved thier win.
