Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bruno Mischler got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Gabaron's Donovan Oudet got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Marsat's Maxence Poignant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrice Frisch in the 5th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Marsat's goal looked a bit too open when Patrice Frisch came free, but Maxence Poignant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brandon Bouthors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Gabaron's Adrien Cardon got a free kick in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Marsat's Noa Costantini broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Stéphane Graff kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Brandon Bouthors managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gabaron's supporters rose to their feet, but Brandon Bouthors was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxence Poignant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Mischler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Paul Aufrère tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Marsat booed when Gabaron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donovan Oudet didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, one of Marsat:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Marsat. 43 minutes into the match, Pacôme Cormerais notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Gabaron's Paul Aufrère. Paul Aufrère was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrice Frisch was the one to do the kick off. Brandon Bouthors took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maxence Poignant. Maxence Poignant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Patrice Frisch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxence Poignant having to interfere. When Dan Lehmann fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marsat's protests and gave Dan Lehmann a yellow card for diving instead. Bruno Mischler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Marsat's zone, Patrice Frisch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxence Poignant came out of the goal and Patrice Frisch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pacôme Cormerais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th match minute, Gabaron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donovan Oudet to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Noa Costantini in the 67th minute really tested Paul Aufrère's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Maxence Poignant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brandon Bouthors in the 69th minute of play. Paul Aufrère made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Mischler in the 70th minute of play. Marsat's Maxence Poignant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brandon Bouthors in the 74th minute of play. Dan Lehmann kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Brandon Bouthors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Maxence Poignant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrice Frisch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eddy Vie kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Marsat's Greg Hamelin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 85th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Paul Aufrère but with some difficulty. If Brandon Bouthors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Aufrère took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Mischler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabaron's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
