Floirac were furious when Guy Tricoire was red carded, 3 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Floirac fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Gaël Pujo had in the 5thth minute some difficulties stopping Cédric Grun's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Mamadou Canovas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaël Pujo having to interfere. Gaël Pujo made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Mamadou Canovas sent off a good shot on target. Gaël Pujo was a little too slow when Pierre-Henri Bonnat got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. The supporters of Floirac booed when Bouguenais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Warin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pierre-Henri Bonnat received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gaël Pujo came out and tried to block the shot, but Pierre-Henri Bonnat slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 16th minute. After 21 played minutes Floirac got a freekick which was hit by Jolan Prosper. 23 minutes in the game, Pierre-Henri Bonnat fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gaël Pujo having to interfere. When Pierre-Henri Bonnat came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Bouguenais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierre-Henri Bonnat couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Bouguenais's Pierre-Henri Bonnat got a free kick in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bouguenais's zone, Tom Burckel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertrand Duris came out of the goal and Tom Burckel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bertrand Duris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Burckel in the 30th minute of play. Pierre-Henri Bonnat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Gaël Pujo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaël Pujo made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Mamadou Canovas sent off a good shot on target. Richard Warin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pierre-Henri Bonnat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes Floirac got a freekick which was hit by Marc-Antoine Gallet. Gaël Pujo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre-Henri Bonnat in the 40th minute of play. In the 45thth minute of the game Mamadou Canovas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Floirac's Gaël Pujo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pierre-Henri Bonnat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tom Burckel was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Floirac got a freekick which was hit by Jolan Prosper. It was beautiful to see Bouguenais's Cédric Grun in action when he in the 54th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Gaël Pujo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-Henri Bonnat, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Floirac's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Just came free, but Gaël Pujo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 59 minutes, Tom Burckel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floirac's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Burckel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mamadou Canovas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pierre-Henri Bonnat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaël Pujo having to interfere. Éluard Gigot kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Thibault Sellam charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thibault Sellam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes Bouguenais got a freekick which was hit by Thibault Sellam. Tom Burckel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Bertrand Duris made a huge save. Éluard Gigot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertrand Duris having to interfere. Bertrand Duris came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Floirac's Tom Burckel. But to his dismay, Tom Burckel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a rather tough play, Bouguenais's Richard Warin got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute Pierre-Henri Bonnat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaël Pujo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pierre-Henri Bonnat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Gaël Pujo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pierre-Henri Bonnat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaël Pujo having to interfere. Mamadou Canovas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaël Pujo having to interfere. Floirac succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Bouguenais had controlled the match.
