Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) Louison Rasse made the kick off and thus started the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugène Horn in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mamadou Avril prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Farid Gabard made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Julien Bossut sent off a good shot on target. Farid Gabard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louison Rasse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the game, Marcelet's Julien Bossut nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Farid Gabard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 13th minute Louison Rasse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farid Gabard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Louison Rasse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Marcelet's zone, Eugène Horn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mamadou Avril came out of the goal and Eugène Horn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Cabrolles's goalkeeper Farid Gabard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julien Bossut. Farid Gabard made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Julien Bossut sent off a good shot on target.
The supporters of Cabrolles booed when Marcelet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noureddine Picault didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Marcelet getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jean-François Cornuault hit a great ball. Mamadou Avril made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugène Horn in the 56th minute of play. Fabien Châtelain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mamadou Avril having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Noureddine Picault hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fabien Châtelain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fabien Châtelain came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Cabrolles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabien Châtelain couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute Eugène Horn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mamadou Avril saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julien Bossut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Farid Gabard having to interfere. Cabrolles's Farid Gabard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louison Rasse in the 81st minute of play. When Louison Rasse came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Marcelet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Louison Rasse couldn't finish the play. Tom Lhuillier kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Farid Gabard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julien Bossut in the 85th minute of the match. Louison Rasse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Farid Gabard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Louison Rasse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Farid Gabard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Farid Gabard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Louison Rasse went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Marcelet's Mamadou Avril played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabien Châtelain in the 97th minute of play.
