After a rather tough play, Montreuil's José Philippart got a free kick in the 29th minute. If Jolan Poulet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. Josselin Bocquel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Monnot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes, Montreuil's Terry Cochard shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Josselin Bocquel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Montreuil reached it. Théodore Pinte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Roger Jenny made a huge save. If Jolan Poulet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Théodore Pinte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger Jenny read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After having played for 53 minutes, Steven Monnot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montreuil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steven Monnot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mauves's Hamza Benech got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Théodore Pinte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roger Jenny having to make a save. 73 minutes into the match, Jolan Poulet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roger Jenny. Montreuil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jolan Poulet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Evan Carrara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Josselin Bocquel made a huge save. Roger Jenny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamid Abraham in the 80th minute of the match. Evan Carrara hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Théodore Pinte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Jenny having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Monnot in the 94th minute of play forced Mauves's goalkeeper Josselin Bocquel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrien Willot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
