Peuplingues's Jason Duval played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Arthaud in the 27th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Garci Unzueta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jason Duval saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Steven Arthaud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salomon's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
