They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romuald Verrecchia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Firmin Polo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Léon Boudaud. That made the score 0-4 in the 56 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romuald Verrecchia in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Émile Samuel saved Côte from getting behind.
