In the 28th minute, Serge Walter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Charles-Emmanuel Lauer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Alex Évra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Arpents's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave XoudaillesYerres the free kick. It was beautiful to see FC Arpents's Yannick Leplat in action when he in the 74th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! If Serge Walter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yoann Cadieu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serge Walter, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The audience was convinced that Serge Walter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yoann Cadieu was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. When Charles-Emmanuel Lauer came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the XoudaillesYerres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles-Emmanuel Lauer couldn't finish the play.
