The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marc-Aurèle Bricout made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Abdel Mahut sent off a good shot on target. Abdel Mahut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc-Aurèle Bricout having to interfere. After 16th play minutes Abdel Mahut shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Marc-Aurèle Bricout and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 23rd minute, Manuel Perrichon fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marc-Aurèle Bricout, passed just outside the right post. 40 minutes into the match, Coutronne's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Perrichon came free, but Marc-Aurèle Bricout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Perrichon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

In the 59th minute, Alexis Cacheux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Coutronne getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Marco Grossi hit a great ball. Abdel Mahut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marc-Aurèle Bricout came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Liverdun's Abdel Mahut. But to his dismay, Abdel Mahut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Clovis Gout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ewan Dhont, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Djibril Colliot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clovis Gout having to interfere. Clovis Gout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ewan Dhont in the 72nd minute of play. When Abdel Mahut came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Liverdun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdel Mahut couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the match, Florentin Goyon notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Coutronne's Marc-Aurèle Bricout. Marc-Aurèle Bricout was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 99thth minute of the game Manuel Perrichon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coutronne's Marc-Aurèle Bricout was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
