Eliott Berranger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Bruno Smith left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PARIS ST GERMAIN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steven Jubault to make the kick off. If Loïc Ruhlmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PARIS ST GERMAIN had played much better football throughout.
