In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Casar's goalkeeper Émilien Moricet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bryan Delaire during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, one of FC Casar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Casar. Tom Godart shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Ramzi Carrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Ramzi Carrel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Argentinos Juniors's Ruben Marchadier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascal Lozach in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Argentinos Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Ramzi Carrel came free, but Ruben Marchadier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emmanuel Dahmani charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emmanuel Dahmani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th match minute, FC Casar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Dahmani to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marvin Helaine was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Casar's Thibaut Manouvrier got a free kick in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Casar's zone, Marvin Helaine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Émilien Moricet came out of the goal and Marvin Helaine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Argentinos Juniors getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Mustapha Pallas hit a great ball. Pascal Lozach succeeded in the game's 63rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. When FC Casar's Pascal Lozach in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Émilien Moricet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustapha Pallas, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Erwan Brisse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Émilien Moricet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marvin Helaine in the 91st minute of play.
