The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Plantaz:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vrière:s goal. The goalkeeper, Mathieu Degouy, was totally fooled by Vrière's Hugues Audibert, who 71 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when François-Xavier Mazur got free with Mathieu Degouy in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. François-Xavier Mazur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Mathieu Degouy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kilian Gamard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathieu Degouy having to interfere. François-Xavier Mazur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Mathieu Degouy made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vrière had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
