Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Djimmy Droin made the kick off which started today's match. Thibault Aubree showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Djimmy Droin, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After having played for 6 minutes, Djimmy Droin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Velotte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Djimmy Droin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute, Djimmy Droin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Jonathan Mongis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jean Avrillon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kader Courtier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kader Courtier got free with Thibault Aubree in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Kader Courtier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velotte's supporters rose to their feet, but Kader Courtier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thibault Aubree breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thibault Aubree showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Marc Herr, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Jean Avrillon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaud Darnis in the 23rd minute of the match. Jonathan Mongis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Avrillon having to interfere. Jean Avrillon came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Voreppe's Arnaud Darnis. But to his dismay, Arnaud Darnis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 33rd minute, Arnaud Darnis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Voreppe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When Velotte's Djimmy Droin in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Voreppe's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Thibault Aubree managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Velotte's Kader Courtier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Voreppe's zone, Kader Courtier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thibault Aubree came out of the goal and Kader Courtier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Arnaud Darnis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th match minute, Voreppe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Francheteau to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaud Darnis to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Djimmy Droin in the 54th minute of play forced Voreppe's goalkeeper Thibault Aubree to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Voreppe's zone, Kader Courtier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thibault Aubree came out of the goal and Kader Courtier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kader Courtier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thibault Aubree took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Djimmy Droin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Velotte booed when Voreppe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Francheteau didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Voreppe's Théodore Hatte got a free kick in the 65th minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Djimmy Droin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Velotte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Djimmy Droin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68thth minute of the game Djimmy Droin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Voreppe's Thibault Aubree was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute, Djimmy Droin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th minute, Arnaud Darnis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 91st minute of the match Alix Régnier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thibault Aubree showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Velotte!
