AVRIL54150's Yohann Seite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ewan Marcadet in the 17th minute of play. Lenny Audin's late challenge caught a AVRIL54150's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lenny Audin helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 played minutes Valbonne got a freekick which was hit by Lenny Audin. When Léonard Auriol fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AVRIL54150's protests and gave Léonard Auriol a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Valbonne's Lenny Audin got a free kick in the 27th minute. Eliott Larguier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philippe Menuet in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ewan Marcadet was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Baudouin in the 55th minute of play forced Valbonne's goalkeeper Eliott Larguier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lenny Audin kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Charles Baudouin came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the AVRIL54150 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Baudouin couldn't finish the play. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, AVRIL54150's goalkeeper Yohann Seite had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marc-Antoine Maniez. 88 minutes into the match, AVRIL54150's goal looked a bit too open when Ewan Marcadet came free, but Yohann Seite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yohann Seite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc-Antoine Maniez in the 89th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bacary Palmieri during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Valbonne walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
