After having played for 10 minutes, Firmin Battaglia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sami Jerbi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Firmin Battaglia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 12 played minutes Sami Jerbi FC got a freekick which was hit by Pierre-Louis Labit. Didier Bizien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Johnny Lavallee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Firmin Battaglia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dominique Chanson came out and tried to block the shot, but Firmin Battaglia slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. Lucas Leperlier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in olympique de montereau's zone, Firmin Battaglia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominique Chanson came out of the goal and Firmin Battaglia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, olympique de montereau's goalkeeper Dominique Chanson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Leperlier. After a rather tough play, olympique de montereau's Didier Bizien got a free kick in the 26th minute. With an all-out effort, Sami Jerbi FC's Dominique Chanson threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Firmin Battaglia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Leperlier got free with Dominique Chanson in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Lucas Leperlier came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Sami Jerbi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Leperlier couldn't finish the play. Lucas Leperlier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alou Guet hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, olympique de montereau's goal looked a bit too open when Firmin Battaglia came free, but Dominique Chanson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Firmin Battaglia to make the kick off. Lucas Leperlier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Firmin Battaglia kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Didier Bizien charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Dominique Chanson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Leperlier in the 75th minute of the match. When Sami Jerbi FC's Firmin Battaglia in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye olympique de montereau's goalie prevented a goal. Lucas Leperlier took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dominique Chanson. Dominique Chanson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Firmin Battaglia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sami Jerbi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Firmin Battaglia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominique Chanson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by John-David Dutheil during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Firmin Battaglia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sami Jerbi FC had played much better football throughout.
