After 11 played minutes Bonsecours got a freekick which was hit by Dove Charpy. 12 minutes into the match, Bonsecours's goal looked a bit too open when Théophile Wiart came free, but Baptiste Amiot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th match minute, Bonsecours was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Madjid Retailleau to maneuver through the defense. Gwendal Rouby made an important save on a dangerous shot by François-Xavier Mélin in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Fondettes's goalkeeper Gwendal Rouby had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by François-Xavier Mélin. With a little luck, Fondettes's Gwendal Rouby got control of the ball when François-Xavier Mélin tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabri Queau in the 27th minute of play forced Fondettes's goalkeeper Gwendal Rouby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Franck Fischer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gwendal Rouby was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. When Sabri Queau came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Bonsecours fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sabri Queau couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute, François-Xavier Mélin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bonsecours fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cyrille Planes during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bonsecours booed when Fondettes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyrille Planes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If François-Xavier Mélin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Baptiste Amiot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Théophile Wiart in the 53rd minute of play. If François-Xavier Mélin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. François-Xavier Mélin hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Théophile Wiart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fondettes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Théophile Wiart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bonsecours's François-Xavier Mélin got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 68 minutes, Sabri Queau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bonsecours's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabri Queau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. François-Xavier Mélin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwendal Rouby having to interfere. In the 80th minute Théophile Wiart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baptiste Amiot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baptiste Amiot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Théophile Wiart, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Fondettes's Moussa Eustache sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baptiste Amiot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. François-Xavier Mélin struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Gwendal Rouby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bonsecours. Bonsecours's François-Xavier Mélin got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Fondettes getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ferdinand Vitse hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Bonsecours's Honoré Guillain tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. François-Xavier Mélin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes Fondettes got a freekick which was hit by Cyrille Planes. Gwendal Rouby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from François-Xavier Mélin in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bonsecours fully deserved thier win.
