Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marc Roullet took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, Ostwald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teddy Morant to maneuver through the defense. Willy Viault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marc Roullet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolphe Dhenin having to interfere. Willy Viault received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Rodolphe Dhenin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxime Magnard in the 11th minute of play forced Ostwald's goalkeeper Rodolphe Dhenin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Louison Doisneau hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Marc-Antoine Lorente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from François-Xavier Ratinaud in the 20th minute of play. Marc-Antoine Lorente was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and François-Xavier Ratinaud capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. François-Xavier Ratinaud really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Bryan Basso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc-Antoine Lorente having to interfere. Rodolphe Dhenin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxime Magnard in the 31st minute of the match. If Marc Roullet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxime Magnard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bryan Basso got free with Marc-Antoine Lorente in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Teddy Morant fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ostwald's protests and gave Teddy Morant a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ostwald fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! Ostwald:s Rodolphe Dhenin showed great skill when he stopped Maxime Magnard:s penalty. AS Nancy Lorraine were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Ostwald's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jean-Charles Demeyer took the corner. The corner ended in Marc Roullet almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ostwald's Rodolphe Dhenin did a great save. AS Nancy Lorraine's Marc-Antoine Lorente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save AS Nancy Lorraine from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when François-Xavier Ratinaud made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as AS Nancy Lorraine's Maxime Magnard slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodolphe Dhenin. That made the score 1-1 after 59 minutes of play. AS Nancy Lorraine's Maxime Magnard got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marc Roullet got free with Rodolphe Dhenin in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Willy Viault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alphonse Dorléans hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Tommy Junca's late challenge caught a Ostwald's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommy Junca helped the player get up and apologised. 84 minutes into the game, one of AS Nancy Lorraine:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 86th minute there was a penalty for Ostwald. Fernand Bouchaud stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marc-Antoine Lorente. 2-1. Maxime Magnard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Rodolphe Dhenin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in AS Nancy Lorraine's zone, Alain Prin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc-Antoine Lorente came out of the goal and Alain Prin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marc-Antoine Lorente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bryan Basso, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Marc-Antoine Lorente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from François-Xavier Ratinaud in the 99th minute of play. Ostwald were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
