Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Hungary's Antal Valentin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Babbis Aggeliadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sverker Fanström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sverker Fanström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 13th minute of play. Jasin Jelićs short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Fodor Daniel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Sverker Fanström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jasin Jelić, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Sanderlend's Robert Augustyn was substituted for Victorino Mano. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Babbis Aggeliadis was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 55 played minutes Sanderlend got a freekick which was hit by Babbis Aggeliadis. Sverker Fanström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the game, Babbis Aggeliadis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Babbis Aggeliadis scored 2-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fodor Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 72 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Antal Valentin. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babbis Aggeliadis in the 73rd minute of play. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Sverker Fanström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. In the 79th minute Babbis Aggeliadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rd minute Sanderlend were awarded a corner. Luo Jun Feng went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 85th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babbis Aggeliadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sverker Fanström having to interfere.
