Blanquefort's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belleveu the free kick. The supporters of Belleveu booed when Blanquefort was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octave Corbel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blanquefort's Bacary Le Forestier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramzi Delval in the 7th minute of play. In the 13th minute Tanguy Quinio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bacary Le Forestier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Blanquefort getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Sabri Dury hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, Belleveu's goal looked a bit too open when Djamel Tavernier came free, but Michaël Benito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Djamel Tavernier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Michaël Benito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Jérémy Calmet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Blanquefort fans cheered their team off the field, for while Belleveu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
