Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Billy Chereau made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 minutes of play, Thèdes's Roland Bibard made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Romieu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 7th minute, Marc Golfier fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jean-Philippe Cossart, passed just outside the right post. Louis Wallez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean-Philippe Cossart read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Jonathan Romieu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Bibard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Billy Chereau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douard's Jonathan Romieu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Chereau in the 25th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Gilbert Weibel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marc Golfier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute Omar Paillard suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by René Scouarnec during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. René Scouarnec kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Marc Golfier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lorenzo Gourdon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 46 minutes, Gilbert Weibel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Douard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Weibel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marc Golfier was the one to do the kick off. Marc Golfier took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean-Philippe Cossart. Jean-Philippe Cossart dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Louis Wallez hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Thèdes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Douard:s goal. In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Douard. Cyrille Forel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jean-Philippe Cossart. 3-1. Marc Golfier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Douard's zone, Roland Bibard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Romieu came out of the goal and Roland Bibard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jean-Philippe Cossart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Golfier, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. If Marc Golfier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roland Bibard in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Romieu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. There was no doubt that Douard were the better team. Douard's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
