The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rémy Arnoux didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominique Ardouin went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Florent Casoni kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Blaise Gruber. That made the score 1-1 in the 9 minute of play. After some careless play in the Polska defense, Dominique Ardouin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rémy Arnoux. The Polska fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rémy Arnoux should have stopped the shot. Crew zéro Fc were furious when Jim Turc was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Crew zéro Fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Polska:s goal. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Polska. Florent Casoni stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Blaise Gruber. 2-2. Florent Casoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florent Casonis short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Blaise Gruber to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Blaise Gruber managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Polska's Florent Casoni fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 39 minutes, Ben Delamarre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crew zéro Fc and the Polska players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Dominique Ardouin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dominique Ardouin to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Florent Casoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blaise Gruber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd play minute Dominique Ardouin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rémy Arnoux. 2-3. Ben Delamarres short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Rémy Arnoux to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ben Delamarre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rémy Arnoux having to interfere. Denis Flament blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rémy Arnoux having to make a save. Dominique Ardouin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rémy Arnoux having to interfere. When Denis Flament came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Crew zéro Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Flament couldn't finish the play. Ben Delamarre came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rémy Arnoux could save by the left post. 89 minutes into the game, Geoffroy Weiss cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Blaise Gruber was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
