Teddy Melot went to the wrong direction when Cheikh Breysse was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Hervé Leplat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sofiane Griveau went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Fernand Fève recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raoul Gèle scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hervé Leplat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Launaguet's zone, Merlin Noyon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teddy Melot came out of the goal and Merlin Noyon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hervé Leplat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daryl Lafon in the 40th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Daryl Lafon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hervé Leplat was relentless in the 40th minute of the game.

New York FC's Michaël Dieudonné was substituted for Joachim Becquart. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cheikh Breysse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teddy Melot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cheikh Breysse in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56thth minute of the game Fernand Fève who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Launaguet's Teddy Melot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merlin Noyon in the 62nd minute of play forced Launaguet's goalkeeper Teddy Melot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernand Fève ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the game, Fernand Fève was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New York FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Launaguet the free kick. After 80 minutes of play, New York FC's Cheikh Breysse made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teddy Melot was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teddy Melot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernand Fève in the 87th minute of the match. Merlin Noyon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Teddy Melot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91stth minute of the game Cheikh Breysse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Launaguet's Teddy Melot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Launaguet's goal looked a bit too open when Merlin Noyon came free, but Teddy Melot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th match minute, New York FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryan Seguier to maneuver through the defense. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
