In the 8th match minute, Olympique Rémois was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Rouquet to maneuver through the defense. After 10 minutes of play, Charrel's Justin Poteau made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jean-Yves Sebille was left in no man's land by his defense there! Axel Catel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Sofyane Moisson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Mathieu Bisson made a precise shot to the right of Sofyane Moisson. Charrel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Sofyane Moisson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sabri Graff went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Sabri Graff took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sofyane Moisson. Sofyane Moisson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. 38 minutes into the match, Charrel's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Rouquet came free, but Sofyane Moisson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pierre-Henri Nardin got free with Jean-Yves Sebille in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sofyane Moisson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sabri Graff went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. 45 minutes into the game, Olympique Rémois's Axel Catel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sofyane Moisson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7.

After 53 played minutes Charrel got a freekick which was hit by Quentin Poupard. Clovis Cren was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 55th minute Mathieu Bisson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofyane Moisson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean-Yves Sebille showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justin Poteau, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Charrel's Sofyane Moisson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Charrel from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Charrel's zone, Reynald Gastal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sofyane Moisson came out of the goal and Reynald Gastal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Olympique Rémois's goalkeeper Jean-Yves Sebille, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Sofyane Moisson managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Olympique Rémois's Axel Catel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 67 in the game by Mathieu Bisson from a close distance when the talented Sofyane Moisson managed to make a qualified save. Charrel's players were relieved. Hercule Domenge charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hercule Domenge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Olympique Rémois booed when Charrel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hercule Domenge didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Charrel's Guillaume Moulet got a free kick in the 71st minute. Axel Catel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofyane Moisson having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Olympique Rémois's Sofyane Moisson threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rodrigue Fix, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 78th minute Justin Poteau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Yves Sebille saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aziz Delphin kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Davy Trinquier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Sofyane Moisson made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugène Demarest in the 89th minute of play forced Olympique Rémois's goalkeeper Jean-Yves Sebille to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armand Laveau's late challenge caught a Charrel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armand Laveau helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes Olympique Rémois got a freekick which was hit by Armand Laveau. When the match was over Olympique Rémois could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Charrel throughout the match.
