If Alban Da Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 47th minute, Cheikh Breysse made a precise shot to the right of Henri Plisson. Pierrevillers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noureddine Boquet to strike the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jackson Amri couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michaël Dieudonné during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Henri Plisson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cheikh Breysse showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 86 minute of play. In the 97th minute, Michaël Dieudonné hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
