Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) New York FC's Cheikh Breysse started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Polska's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New York FC the free kick. After 9 played minutes Polska got a freekick which was hit by Florent Casoni. After a defensive mix-up in Polska's zone, Cheikh Breysse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rémy Arnoux came out of the goal and Cheikh Breysse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hervé Leplat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florent Casoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th match minute, Polska was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noa Cozic to maneuver through the defense. After 16th play minutes Cheikh Breysse shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Rémy Arnoux and just under the crossbar into goal. 19 minutes into the game, Arnaud Bourgois threw the ball into play from the sideline. Polska's Justin Barnabé quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. New York FC's Hervé Leplat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gameiro Chareyre in the 20th minute of play. Cheikh Breysse received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rémy Arnoux came out and tried to block the shot, but Cheikh Breysse slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 30th minute. Alban Da Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Rémy Arnoux made a huge save. In the 45th minute Florent Casoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hervé Leplat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Hervé Leplat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florent Casoni in the 54th minute. Rémy Arnoux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michaël Dieudonné, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Polska! The New York FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0.
