Merlin Noyon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Timothé Bastin made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jolan Riffaud in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hervé Leplat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 10th play minutes Jolan Riffaud shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Hervé Leplat and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alban Da Cruz got free with Timothé Bastin in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stanislas Sigrist came free in the 21st minute and tried to tip the ball over Hervé Leplat, but to the joy of New York FC's supporters the ball went over. 23 minutes into the game, Louvil's Jolan Riffaud nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hervé Leplat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Hervé Leplat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jolan Riffaud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Jolan Riffaud made a precise shot to the right of Hervé Leplat. New York FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Hervé Leplat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jolan Riffaud's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 41st match minute, New York FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaud Bourgois to maneuver through the defense. The New York FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Louvil were winning 0-4.

New York FC made a substitution. Michaël Dieudonné replaced Joachim Becquart. The wind increased when Jolan Riffaud made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of New York FC booed when Louvil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacques Nussbaum didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th match minute, New York FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaud Bourgois to maneuver through the defense. Stanislas Sigrist kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Ryan Seguier kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Gérald Schmid kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Timothé Bastin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cheikh Breysse went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score.
