The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jean-Christophe Grosso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, PSG Lion's goal looked a bit too open when Louison Flour came free, but Johnny Barras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pérérréeasd booed when PSG Lion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Verbeke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jérémy Hannequin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Johnny Barras. PSG Lion's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Johnny Barras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michaël Milin went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amaury Méret in the 33rd minute of play forced Pérérréeasd's goalkeeper Jean-Christophe Grosso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ange Hautecœur fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pérérréeasd's protests and gave Ange Hautecœur a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Pérérréeasd got a freekick which was hit by Ange Hautecœur. In the 39th minute, Brendan Lacam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Michaël Milin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and PSG Lion's Johnny Barras didn't even have to move. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yves Gournay during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 46 minutes in the game, Louison Flour fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Johnny Barras having to interfere. Michaël Milin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Johnny Barras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michaël Milin to make the kick off. If Valentin Peeters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pérérréeasd's goalkeeper Jean-Christophe Grosso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jean-Christophe Grosso was a little too slow when Kamel Marquez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 68th minute, Jérémy Hannequin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 71 minutes, Albert Verbeke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PSG Lion and the Pérérréeasd players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Ange Hautecœur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pérérréeasd's supporters rose to their feet, but Ange Hautecœur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnny Barras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 75 played minutes Pérérréeasd got a freekick which was hit by Jérémy Hannequin. Kamel Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jean-Christophe Grosso was a little too slow when Kamel Marquez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-2. PSG Lion's Johnny Forte got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johnny Forte struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Jean-Christophe Grosso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PSG Lion. When PSG Lion's Kamel Marquez in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pérérréeasd's goalie prevented a goal.
