Spectators: 7967 (Terracing: 5977, Seating: 1832, VIP seats: 158) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kilian Seigle made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 minutes, Faudel Roques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Herlies and the Sigaloux players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sigaloux's Adil Pestel was substituted for Jérémy Ghesquière. In the 4th minute, Faudel Roques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kilian Seigle came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Sigaloux fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kilian Seigle couldn't finish the play. After having played for 7 minutes, Yoann Francheteau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sigaloux's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yoann Francheteau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9th minute Antony Gimbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martial Quilichini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Éluard Ridet hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Herlies's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Sidney Jouvet scored to the left of an out of position Dylan Grasset, making the score, 1-1. Sigaloux's Martial Quilichini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordan Toupin in the 21st minute of play. Dylan Grasset made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adil Pestel in the 22nd minute. Sidney Jouvet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Dylan Grasset tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Sigaloux defense, Antony Gimbert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martial Quilichini. The Sigaloux fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martial Quilichini should have stopped the shot. Martial Quilichini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony Gimbert in the 35th minute of play. César Cugnet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Martial Quilichini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herlies's Jordan Toupin got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Antony Gimbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martial Quilichini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sigaloux's Martial Quilichini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Cugnet in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Herlies were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antony Gimbert was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when César Cugnet got free with Martial Quilichini in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martial Quilichini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony Gimbert in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves César Cugnet could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Martial Quilichini however easily saved by the left post. After 60 played minutes Herlies got a freekick which was hit by David Wartel. In the 67th minute Antony Gimbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martial Quilichini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Ludovic Degraeve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 played minutes Antony Gimbert rounded Sigaloux's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. Martial Quilichini made an important save on a dangerous shot by César Cugnet in the 77th minute. Jordan Toupin struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Martial Quilichini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Herlies. Martial Quilichini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antony Gimbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. If Antony Gimbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martial Quilichini came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Herlies's César Cugnet. But to his dismay, César Cugnet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. In the 94th minute Zinedine Ruaud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martial Quilichini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Herlies could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sigaloux throughout the match.
