Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 159) Nice's Oscar Cadieu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hugues Guiet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Lifanov having to interfere. After 13th play minutes Roman Pouyet shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Pavel Lifanov and just under the crossbar into goal. Hugues Guiet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Nice's Quentin Lavandier got a free kick in the 18th minute. Rouret's Diego Thomazeau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Cadieu in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rouret's zone, Oscar Cadieu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Thomazeau came out of the goal and Oscar Cadieu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Thomazeau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentin Michard in the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Nice's Florentin Michard got a free kick in the 30th minute. Hugues Guiet struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Pavel Lifanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rouret. Rouret's Lorenzo Seurin got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chris Le Gallous short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Pavel Lifanov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Diego Thomazeau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Cadieu, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. When Lorenzo Seurin fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rouret's protests and gave Lorenzo Seurin a yellow card for diving instead. Lorenzo Seurin kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match.
After a rather tough play, Rouret's Chris Le Gallou got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 53 minutes, Jarod Lobry mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nice and the Rouret players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Nice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarod Lobry to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jordan Busch got free with Diego Thomazeau in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the match, Nice's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Pouyet came free, but Pavel Lifanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hugues Guiet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes Nice got a freekick which was hit by Patrice Claus. Pavel Lifanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Le Gallou in the 63rd minute of the match. Hugues Guiet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Lifanov having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, Rouret was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugues Guiet to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Florentin Michard made a precise shot to the right of Diego Thomazeau. Rouret's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 75 minutes into the match, Rouret's goalkeeper Diego Thomazeau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jordan Busch. Jarod Lobry was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Lorenzo Seurin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roman Pouyet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Pavel Lifanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Lorenzo Seurin put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pavel Lifanov. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lorenzo Seurin in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pavel Lifanov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oscar Cadieu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Thomazeau having to interfere. Jordan Busch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Diego Thomazeau made a huge save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rouret had played much better football throughout.
