After a defensive mix-up in Coudekerque's zone, Quentin Viau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarod Bebin came out of the goal and Quentin Viau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the game, Kader Bonifay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marinel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coudekerque the free kick. In the 13th minute, Kader Bonifay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Marinel's goalkeeper Stéphane Weibel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kamel Rocher. Michel Testud charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michel Testud the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Marinel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Testud to maneuver through the defense. Kamel Rochers short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Stéphane Weibel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quentin Viau in the 25th minute of play forced Coudekerque's goalkeeper Jarod Bebin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabien Poulet hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Nicolas Legoux got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michel Testud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 31 played minutes, Marinel's Kader Bonifay shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jarod Bebin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marinel reached it. The supporters of Marinel booed when Coudekerque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabien Poulet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stéphane Weibel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kamel Rocher in the 45th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Josselin Seys scored 1-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stéphane Weibel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute Fabien Poulet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stéphane Weibel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 played minutes Coudekerque got a freekick which was hit by Kamel Rocher. Quentin Viau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Joris Poignant managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coudekerque's supporters rose to their feet, but Joris Poignant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stéphane Weibel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marinel's Stéphane Weibel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamel Rocher in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Marinel's Michel Testud got a free kick in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamel Rocher in the 68th minute of play forced Marinel's goalkeeper Stéphane Weibel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarod Bebin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quentin Viau, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When Coudekerque's Joris Poignant in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marinel's goalie prevented a goal. Michel Testud struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Jarod Bebin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marinel. Coudekerque's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Quentin Viau scored to the left of an out of position Jarod Bebin, making the score, 1-1. Quentin Viau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quentin Viau got free with Jarod Bebin in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When William Lestage came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Marinel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Lestage couldn't finish the play. Marinel were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
