Spectators: 7963 (Terracing: 6055, Seating: 1856, VIP seats: 52) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Oscar Cadieu kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Grossereix's Dorian Andries got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 4th match minute, Nice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Rocher to maneuver through the defense. Flavien Bouchereau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Pavel Lifanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Nice's Porter Lacy got a free kick in the 7th minute. When Grossereix's Flavien Bouchereau in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nice's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dorian Andries in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pavel Lifanov saved Nice from getting behind. Flavien Bouchereau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Lifanov having to interfere. After 13 minutes of play, Nice's Jordan Busch made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Josselin Biteau was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Jarod Lobry fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nice's protests and gave Jarod Lobry a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Grossereix booed when Nice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarod Lobry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavien Bouchereau struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Pavel Lifanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grossereix. 18 minutes into the match, Eddy Fleury had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pavel Lifanov. Nice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eddy Fleury was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Josselin Biteau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentin Michard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddy Fleury in the 28th minute of play forced Nice's goalkeeper Pavel Lifanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eddy Fleury fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Lifanov having to interfere. When Eddy Fleury came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Grossereix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eddy Fleury couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute Eddy Fleury shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Lifanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eddy Fleury made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Grossereix's goal looked a bit too open when Jordan Busch came free, but Josselin Biteau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mounir Bérenger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mounir Bérenger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavien Bouchereau did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Pavel Lifanov 64 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Grossereix's Mounir Bérenger got a free kick in the 67th minute. Dorian Andries received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Pavel Lifanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Oscar Cadieu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Josselin Biteau was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 79 minutes into the match, Grossereix's goal looked a bit too open when Florentin Michard came free, but Josselin Biteau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mounir Bérenger got free with Pavel Lifanov in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Pavel Lifanov managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Grossereix's Flavien Bouchereau fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 84 minutes into the match, Grossereix's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Cadieu came free, but Josselin Biteau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Nice's goalkeeper Pavel Lifanov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavien Bouchereau. Flavien Bouchereau's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pavel Lifanov firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 86th match minute, Nice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrice Claus to maneuver through the defense. Pavel Lifanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Fleury in the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Grossereix left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nice.
