Bixente Poujol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kylian Christiaens in the 15th minute of the match. Alphonse Kermarrec took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mohamed Kadri. Mohamed Kadri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 28 minutes into the match, Pierre-Louis Ramette notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Chuzelles's Mohamed Kadri. Mohamed Kadri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bixente Poujol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kylian Christiaens went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 36th match minute, Chuzelles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmid Aury to maneuver through the defense. Mohamed Kadri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romuald Roesch in the 37th minute. Mohamed Kadri made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Romuald Roesch sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th match minute, Chuzelles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Brun to maneuver through the defense. Corbier's Bixente Poujol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrice Yung in the 46th minute of play. Bixente Poujol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kylian Christiaens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabrice Yung was the one to do the kick off. Bixente Poujol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmid Aury in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Amine Doche left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romuald Roesch in the 63rd minute of play forced Chuzelles's goalkeeper Mohamed Kadri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mohamed Kadri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alphonse Kermarrec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Chuzelles booed when Corbier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre-Louis Ramette didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corbier's Bixente Poujol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Corbier from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute, Romuald Roesch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corbier fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. After a defensive mix-up in Corbier's zone, Kylian Christiaens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bixente Poujol came out of the goal and Kylian Christiaens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bixente Poujol was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kylian Christiaens showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-4 in the 78 minute of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Romuald Roesch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corbier's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romuald Roesch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romuald Roesch in the 84th minute of play forced Chuzelles's goalkeeper Mohamed Kadri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Kilian Béquet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 minutes of play, Corbier's Alphonse Kermarrec made it 5-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mohamed Kadri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bixente Poujol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrice Yung, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chuzelles players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Corbier.
