But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathieu Pruvost couldn't finish the play. Sidney Bordier's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Hugo Demeyer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Hugo Demeyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney Bordier in the 97th minute of the match. FC Bayeux walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
