Grégory Pille sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grégory Pille blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Titouan Bonnard having to make a save. Yoann Raynal charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yoann Raynal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Phuηky Ðata! Nathanaël Gracia struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Titouan Bonnard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nancy. 37 minutes into the match, Grégory Pille dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Titouan Bonnard, 2-0. Salomon Depoilly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nathanaël Gracia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nathanaël Gracia got free with Titouan Bonnard in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute Grégory Pille shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Titouan Bonnard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Grégory Pille to strike the kick off in the second half. When Grégory Pille came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Nancy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grégory Pille couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Phuηky Ðata's zone, Grégory Pille stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Titouan Bonnard came out of the goal and Grégory Pille tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nancy's Nathanaël Gracia got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nathanaël Gracia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Titouan Bonnard having to interfere. Nancy's Grégory Pille got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Grégory Pille fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Titouan Bonnard having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Nathanaël Gracia made a precise shot to the right of Titouan Bonnard. Phuηky Ðata's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. It was beautiful to see Phuηky Ðata's Henri Buis in action when he in the 97th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Nancy's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
