The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Ryan Decool put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Robin Gehin. Robin Gehin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melvin Diaz in the 8th minute of play. With his leg Robin Gehin managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Lezs's Ryan Decool fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ryan Decool had several of the Thise's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 11 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Robin Gehin as he didn't even see the shot coming. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ryan Decool in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robin Gehin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 16 minutes, Noe Quint mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Thise and the Lezs players grew even worse after the yellow card. Noe Quint kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Thise's zone, Melvin Diaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Gehin came out of the goal and Melvin Diaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 21 minutes, Raoul Pelissier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Thise and the Lezs players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Thise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raoul Pelissier to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryan Decool in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robin Gehin saved Thise from getting behind. The supporters of Lezs booed when Thise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaetan David didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Thise's goalkeeper Robin Gehin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marouane Estrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Robin Gehin made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Ryan Decool's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robin Gehin was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, Thise's goalkeeper Robin Gehin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aymerick Burnier. Noe Quint hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes Thise got a freekick which was hit by Regis Rioual. After having played for 44 minutes, Melvin Diaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lezs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melvin Diaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 48 minutes into the game, Roland Cassier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lezs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thise the free kick.

The wind increased when Ryan Decool made the kick off in the second half. In the 64thth minute of the game Ryan Decool who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thise's Robin Gehin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute Ryan Decool shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Gehin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Igor Hélie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Lezs fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Lezs's Ryan Decool looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Reda Tournadre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Ginet having to interfere. Robin Gehin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan Decool in the 73rd minute of the match. Ryan Decool took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robin Gehin. Robin Gehin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Ryan Decool put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Robin Gehin. Roland Cassier kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Thise's goal looked a bit too open when Ryan Decool came free, but Robin Gehin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robin Gehin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melvin Diaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melvin Diaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Robin Gehin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robin Gehin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryan Decool's shot from short distance in the 98th minute.
