Ben Carteron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yannick Picq in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Bouvard's goal looked a bit too open when Yannick Picq came free, but Ben Carteron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joe Dulac stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ben Carteron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bakary Dallier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rayan Gueroult took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim Boulle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 minutes of play, Béthuneasd's Joe Dulac made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ben Carteron was left in no man's land by his defense there! 58 minutes into the game, Étienne Marini threw the ball into play from the sideline. Bouvard's Romaric Lanvin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Étienne Marini charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Étienne Marini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th match minute, Béthuneasd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Étienne Marini to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the game, Bouvard's Jim Boulle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rayan Gueroult made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Jim Boulle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rayan Gueroult having to interfere. 71 minutes in the game, Jim Boulle fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rayan Gueroult having to interfere. Jim Boulle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rayan Gueroult having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Béthuneasd fully deserved thier win.
