Spectators: 8075 (Terracing: 6058, Seating: 1857, VIP seats: 160) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bruno Jule took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nantes FC's Irakliy Kurennov got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Irakliy Kurennov came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Nantes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Irakliy Kurennov couldn't finish the play. Malik Coquelet hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Irakliy Kurennov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th match minute, Stade de Reims was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malik Coquelet to maneuver through the defense. Roman Chassang came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Nantes FC's Irakliy Kurennov. But to his dismay, Irakliy Kurennov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 15th minute, Hassan Delestre made a precise shot to the right of Roman Chassang. Stade de Reims's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Aziz Sénéchal kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The Nantes FC fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Nantes FC's Hassan Delestre looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 23rd match minute, Nantes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenny Soula to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Lenny Soula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nantes FC's Mohamed Luciani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Nantes FC from getting a goal against them. After 34 played minutes Stade de Reims got a freekick which was hit by Malik Coquelet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hassan Delestre in the 35th minute of play forced Stade de Reims's goalkeeper Roman Chassang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Irakliy Kurennov scored 0-4 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roman Chassang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Stade de Reims defense, Hassan Delestre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Chassang. The Stade de Reims fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Chassang should have stopped the shot. Hassan Delestre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roman Chassang having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Irakliy Kurennov made a kick off. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stade de Reims's goalkeeper Roman Chassang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Irakliy Kurennov notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Stade de Reims's Roman Chassang. Roman Chassang was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Irakliy Kurennov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Malik Coquelet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stade de Reims's Roman Chassang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irakliy Kurennov in the 68th minute of play. Roman Chassang didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Nantes FC's Irakliy Kurennov shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-8 in the ordered_time% minute. After 75 minutes, Ludovic Augier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stade de Reims and the Nantes FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Stade de Reims was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludovic Augier to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes in the game Lenny Soula after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Roman Chassang. A very good opportunity. Roman Chassang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irakliy Kurennov in the 83rd minute of the match. Édouard Forissier charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Édouard Forissier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Nantes FC's Édouard Forissier got a free kick in the 87th minute.
