Everardo Silbestre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed-Ali Duffaut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Jules Delas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mohamed-Ali Duffaut's late challenge caught a Durotar Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mohamed-Ali Duffaut helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mondelange getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Mohamed-Ali Duffaut hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute Ulysse Sonnet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Pignard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Durotar Football Club fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Durotar Football Club's Karl Vaxelaire looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Ulysse Sonnet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Pignard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed-Ali Duffaut in the 45th minute of play forced Durotar Football Club's goalkeeper Everardo Silbestre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Durotar Football Club's Everardo Silbestre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Durotar Football Club from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulysse Sonnet made a kick off. Denis Pignard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulysse Sonnet in the 77th minute of the match. Samuel Boucher kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Durotar Football Club's Karl Vaxelaire was responsible for 2-3 with a brilliant performance in the 85th minute when he, by himself, got past the opponents defense and with a quick shot sent the ball into the goal to the left of Denis Pignard. In the 90th match minute, Mondelange was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed-Ali Duffaut to maneuver through the defense. Gildas Heck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Durotar Football Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
