Carl Hénaff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Jule in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Farid Aurousseau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Jule made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bas Wouters in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roman Chassang saved Stade de Reims from getting behind. With his leg Roman Chassang managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Red Star F.C.'s Bas Wouters fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Stade de Reims getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Morgan Millien hit a great ball.
