Jimmy Mansuy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Pierre Casagrande made a huge save. Aimé Brouet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Casagrande having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Jimmy Mansuy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The mcity fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jimmy Mansuy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Belberaud's zone, Jimmy Mansuy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierre Casagrande came out of the goal and Jimmy Mansuy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, mcity's goal looked a bit too open when Sacha Pinard came free, but Fernand Pinon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Belberaud's Sacha Pinard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernand Pinon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Hénaux in the 19th minute of play forced mcity's goalkeeper Fernand Pinon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the mcity defense, Maurice Bazin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernand Pinon. The mcity fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernand Pinon should have stopped the shot. Pierre Casagrande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aimé Brouet, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The supporters of Belberaud booed when mcity was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bakary Giacomoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Fouche might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernand Pinon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Fouche ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belberaud's goalkeeper Pierre Casagrande, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aimé Brouet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Pierre Casagrande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pierre Casagrande was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jimmy Mansuy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 37 minute of play. Pierre Casagrande stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jimmy Mansuy's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Jimmy Mansuy struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Pierre Casagrande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for mcity. The supporters of mcity booed when Belberaud was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabin Cadoux didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimmy Mansuy didn't quite understand what happened when in the 47 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet.

After 59 played minutes mcity got a freekick which was hit by Charles Chirat. The audience was convinced that Jimmy Mansuy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pierre Casagrande was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. If Jimmy Mansuy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pierre Casagrande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy Mansuy in the 67th minute of play. After 76 played minutes mcity got a freekick which was hit by Charles Chirat. Valentin Hénaux might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernand Pinon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentin Hénaux ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 77th minute, Maurice Bazin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernand Pinon was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. With a little luck, mcity's Fernand Pinon got control of the ball when Maurice Bazin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jimmy Mansuy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Casagrande having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Belberaud got a freekick which was hit by Gabin Cadoux. In the 92nd minute, Jimmy Mansuy sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Belberaud's Pierre Casagrande didn't even have to move. mcity's Aimé Brouet got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the mcity players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
